Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by creating DIY paper plate Valentine's lollipops?! These crafts are not only super cute but also a great way to show your loved ones that you care. Plus, they're so easy to make, even the kids can get in on the fun!
Supplies Needed:
Candy or prizes
Pencils
Tape
Treat bags
Paper plates
Ribbon (optional)
To make the paper plate lollipops, start by getting out two paper plates.
I popped them inside out, so that the color of the plates would be on the outside. If you want to save time, you can skip this step.
Tape a pencil to the bottom of the first plate.
You will then, fill the plates with candy or prizes. You can also add in some confetti, stickers or even write cute little notes on each plate.
Next, take the second plate and cover the first plate and seal them shut with some tape. Be sure to secure the sides with tape to keep your treats from escaping.
Lastly, let's move on to the treat bags! Since I used small paper plates, I only needed to use one treat bag, per lollipop. If you are using regular sized paper plates, you will need to use two treat bags and you will cut one side of each. Long story short, it's easier to use small paper plates!
Finally, insert each paper plate into a treat bag. You will then twist the bottom of the bag until it is completely wrapped around the part of the pencil, nearest the plate. Wrap tape around this and wah-lah! You should have a lollipop.
I added a sticker to each one to enhance the cuteness! You can also use ribbon to add to the final touches!
And there you have it! These DIY paper plate lollipops are not only perfect for Valentine's Day parties but also make great gifts for friends, classmates, or even as party favors!
